Catholic Workers Movement Kampala Archdiocese Elects New Leaders for the next three years


 Members of the Catholic workers Movement in Kampala Archdiocese elected new leaders on the 29th of July 2012 at the annual general assembly that was held at Nsambya Sharing Hall in Kampala. The leaders who were elected will bear their offices for the next three years (August 2012 to August 2015)

The leaders were elected democratically. Aspiring candidates presented their manifestos indicating what they hope to do for the movement so as to woo their electorates.

At the end of the day Mr J B Walusimbi was elected as chairman, he was elected together with a seven man committee that includes V/Chairman, General Secretary, Treasurer, Projects Co-coordinator, Elderly Coordinator, Men’s Representative and Women’s Representative. The youth are yet to vote their representative at the Diocesan Executive Committee.  The new office bearers will be swearing in soon and thereafter assume their respective offices.
